Inventory Specialist

Scope

All training will be provided.

• Follow detailed documentation and verbal instructions.
• Maintain 5S area protocol and cleaning guidelines for designated areas.
• Maintain locked cabinet, issue critical high‑end supplies and calibration equipment as needed.
• Assist with cleaning, organizing, and stocking the production areas as needed.
• Ensure all material invoices/packing lists are logged, reconciled with POs, organized and submitted to accounting.
• Submit purchase orders for all production supplies.
• Work with the Logistics lead for daily assistance.
• Receive, reconcile inventory and stock supplies.
• Maintain inventory spreadsheet up to date and keep inventory stocks healthy.
• Work with leads and planner to evaluate supply trends, staffing changes, and adjust stock levels.
• Work with Purchasing Manager to evaluate supplies trend changes.
• Maintain a log of batch‑specific test results for all gasses, chemistry, and media received and trend potential out‑of‑specification results (True Chem).

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Clerical skills:
  Know how to type, file, and keep accurate records.
• Communication skills:
  Communicate with co‑workers, leads, and others to ensure accurate inventory records.
• Attention to detail:
  Accurate inventory counts to ensure no details are missed when counting orders and taking stock.
• Math skills:
  Use basic math to add/deduct inventory.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
