Stock Kitting & Inventory Clerk

Overview

C.E. Precision Assemblies, a leading Aerospace and Defense assembly manufacturer in Chandler, Arizona, is seeking a Stock Kitting and Inventory Clerk
.

Weekly

Schedule:

Full Time, Mon-Fri 6:00a-2:30p (overtime as required). Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour.

• Utilize a “Do it Right the First Time” philosophy in all activities.
• Sort, check, and place received material into logical or assigned locations.
• Create reorder requests when material needs replenishment.
• Provide material for the production line by following the material pick list on the Labor Plan.
• Ensure accuracy with all counts and markers; double check your work.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned.

• Conduct short- and long-range inventory strategies and planning.
• Coordinate with production requirements of materials and supplies with Inventory to meet customer requirements.
• Provide expertise in formulating, developing, and implementing inventory stocking and procurement.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory levels.

• Periodically or continuously, count and record findings for accuracy and allocations, depending on material type.

• Follow 5S best practices and use the clean as you go method.
• Rearrange stock locations or materials to optimize space utilization when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Preferred: 4 years production related experience.
• Required:
  
  High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred:
  Knowledge and experience in stockroom.
• Must be able to occasionally lift 35lbs to 50lbs.
• Preferred:
  Forklift or Powerlift experience.
• Must pass a background and drug test.
• Must have own reliable transportation and a valid US driver’s license.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
