Production Team Lead
Pacific Scientific Energetic Materials Company (Pac Sci EMC), a Ralliant Corporation operating company, seeks a Production Team Lead to manage day‑to‑day operations and ensure the team meets daily production goals.
Responsibilities- The Lead Associate will perform lead tasks a portion of the time while functioning as a manufacturing associate for the remainder; time allocation may shift based on business needs.
- Effectively escalates issues to the Line Supervisor or other key operational team members in a timely manner.
- Maintains consistent workflow, monitors accuracy of build paperwork, and drives standard work processes.
- Encourages team suggestions, involves members in problem‑solving activities and QDIP assignments.
- Monitors associate skills, documents training needs, provides cross‑training input, and addresses interpersonal conflicts.
- Provides feedback on positive behaviors and assists the Supervisor with associate performance reviews.
- Poorly detects and reports safety violations, monitors cell/building actions (RAIL items), and helps ensure safety policies are followed.
- Tracks daily production metrics, assists with scheduling using tools such as Crystal Reports, and reviews QDIP process and KPIs.
- Participates in Failure Review Board issues and continuous improvement projects as assigned.
- Encourage and work with team members to support submitting suggestions and provide solutions for manufacturing issues.
- Involve team members in problem‑solving activities and QDIP assignments.
- Monitor, document associate skills, provide input on training and support cross‑training needs.
- Escalate any interpersonal issues or team conflicts directly to the Supervisor.
- Provide feedback on positive behaviors for an individual or the team to the Supervisor for recognition purposes.
- Promote good behaviors by coaching and mentoring team members.
- May be asked to attend operational meetings on behalf of the Supervisor.
- Minimum Associate Level II position for at least one year; must have excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
- IPC 610 and JSTD certified.
- Self‑starter, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Good problem‑solving skills;
Lean and 5S knowledge desired. - Minimum of one year’s experience directly with the assigned operational team preferred.
- Some customer interface experience preferred.
- Computer skills a plus (Microsoft Office products and Visual business systems).
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Lead Associate shall receive a 5% pay premium, not to exceed the maximum of their assigned grade level. If the Lead Associate is no longer performing these tasks, the premium is revoked and the associate returns to the original base rate.

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.
Pay RangeThe hourly salary range for this position is $17.64–$32.74.
