Position OverviewThe Service Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that all contracted work is developed, implemented, installed, and managed in accordance with Company requirements, including safety, quality, management, and financial performance standards. The Service Project Manager must plan for, manage, monitor, and maintain project profitability to achieve Company goals while overseeing all aspects of customer delivery from estimating through job completion.
Job Duties and Responsibilities- Must be self-motivated, positive in approach, professional and help create, develop safety protocols, and implement project process improvement(s).
- Must promote the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients, and business partners and interact in a professional manner at all times.
- Must possess proven problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills and the ability to effectively read, write and give oral presentation(s).
- Must have proven high skill level to interpret blueprints and other project documents, including but not limited to specifications, reporting and quality requirements.
- Must be able to secure and maintain a Company sponsored American Express Card.
- Must be able to use the following trade Tools: punch tool with 110 block and 66 block blade, 6/8 position combo crimp tool, Krone/3M/BIX, butt set, volt-ohmmeter, 4-pair continuity tester, 5-gang punch tool, and 24pr dressing tool.
- Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency.
- Prefer experience using products from the following manufacturers:
Siemon, Comm Scope, Corning, Legrand, and Panduit. - Must have experience in customer interface, such as liaison between the customer and the Company.
- Prefera minimum of five (5) years of supervisory or managerial experience.
- Must have a minimum of five (5) years of verifiable experience in telecommunications or a related technical or construction field.
- Must meet company minimum driving qualifications, including maintaining a valid driver's license and appropriate insurance coverage.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
