The City of Chandler Community Services Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a Parks Maintenance Worker (part-time, temporary, non-benefited). The position is scheduled to work Saturdays and Sundays from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. This recruitment will be used to fill regular full-time, part-time, and temporary positions.
Current City of Chandler employees may only hold one position and are not eligible for additional part-time or secondary positions within the City of Chandler.

The Park Operations Division plays a critical role in the City of Chandler’s quality of life initiatives by providing over 1,500 acres of safe, clean and well-maintained parks that offer exceptional recreational experiences.

Minimum qualifications- Completion of eighth grade, no experience required; and
- A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
- 1 year of landscaping, irrigation, or sports filed maintenance experience.
The City of Chandler will conduct apre-employment driving record check as a condition of employment. An offer of employment is contingent upon acceptable results. All applicants hired will be required to be fingerprinted with successful results as a condition of continued employment.
