Job OverviewThe Information Security Engineer 4 - Contingent will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large‑scale planning for Information Security Engineering. This position involves reviewing and analyzing multi‑faceted, large‑scale challenges requiring in‑depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented elements. The role contributes to resolving complex situations while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and deliverables. The engineer will strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel to support the migration from Prisma Cloud Enterprise to the Wiz CNAPP tool, focusing on Cloud Security Posture Management.
Responsibilities- Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large‑scale planning for Information Security Engineering.
- Review and analyze multi‑faceted challenges requiring in‑depth evaluation of multiple factors.
- Contribute to resolving complex situations while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Support the migration of CSPM capabilities from Palo Alto Prisma Cloud Enterprise to Wiz.
- Act as the subject matter expert for Wiz capabilities, roadmap features, and best practices specific to CSPM.
- Enable and tune Wiz detection for public cloud misconfigurations and configuration drift.
- Transform security requirements into Rego policies for Wiz CSPM.
- Collaborate with teammates, vendors, and partners to ensure successful policy development automation.
- Lead technical discussions and design complex solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve support escalation cases related to Wiz CSPM.
- Contribute to internal code repositories to improve code quality.
- Provide high‑quality documentation of delivered solutions.
- Train team members on utilizing semi‑automation tooling for policy development.
- Work effectively in a fast‑paced environment with aggressive deadlines.
- Collaborate with a virtual team across various locations.
- 5+ years of Information Security Engineering experience or equivalent.
- 4+ years of intermediate to advanced experience with Terraform/automation.
- 2+ years of practical experience with Azure and Google public cloud platforms.
- 1+ year of experience with Resource Query Language (RQL) and/or Rego policy development.
- Experience with extracting, transforming, and loading data via REST API endpoints.
- Advanced experience with Python programming/automation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, Jenkins, and Azure Dev Ops.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong analytical skills and critical thinking capabilities.
- Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to handle multiple high‑priority deliverables concurrently.
- Experience working on teams practicing Agile Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
