ServiceNow Developer

Our financial client is looking for a Sr. Service Now Developer who will be responsible for the analysis, design, configuration, and implementation of software development projects with Service Now ITSM, ITAM, and ITOM. The candidate will work on multiple projects and development efforts, providing technical and architectural guidance on complex initiatives and working closely with onshore and offshore resources. The ideal candidate has at least 5‑7 years of hands‑on programming experience.

• Develop Interactive Dashboards, Widgets, Work spaces.

• 3 days onsite in Chandler AZ
• W2 ONLY - no Third party candidates

• Support the standup, configuration, and implementation of the modules supporting Service Now's ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM capabilities.
• Design, Create, and Maintain reporting inclusive of Platform and Performance Analytics, Process Mining, and KRIs, KPIs, and Control metrics at both a process/workflow and operational level.
• Develop Interactive Dashboards, Widgets, Work spaces.
• Create and maintain Forms, Reports, Views, Workflows, Business Rules, Scripts, ACLs, Groups, and Roles.
• Create and configure tool integrations with Service Now (Netcool, Kafka, etc.).
• Assist with design, creation, and cataloging of business process flows.
• Perform the necessary tasks to design and configure Service Now functions to meet operational needs.
• Oversee the integration of information into the CMDB from Service Now Discovery and APIs, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Utilize your experience in creating APIs to establish seamless communication between Service Now and other systems.
• Design and implement robust APIs that contribute to efficient data exchange.

• Expert knowledge of Service Now CMDB, ITSM applications with at least 5+ years of hands‑on experience.
• 5+ years of experience working as a Service Now Developer.
• 3+ years of experience working in the Discovery module of Service Now.
• Proficiency with API development (SOAP or REST).
• Proficient in core tables, Glide, scripting, UI actions, scheduled jobs, business rules, client scripts, data imports, custom apps, and development methodologies.
• Expertise in Service Now development, JavaScript, Angular JS or React JS.
• Proficiency in Service Now Flow Designer.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with complex and global projects.
• Very strong analytical skills.
• ITIL Foundations certified or higher preferred.

This is a Contract position based out of Chandler, AZ. The role is hybrid, requiring 3 days onsite in Chandler, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $65.00 – $75.00 per hour.
