We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic IT specialist to join our dynamic IT support team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about technology and customer service, eager to learn, and ready to grow within a fast‑paced, supportive environment.

Position Overview

This position in IT Support, will be the first point of contact for our users who need technical support. You’ll assist with troubleshooting a variety of IT‑related issues, resolve technical problems, and escalate more complex issues to higher‑level support staff when needed. This is an excellent entry‑level opportunity for someone looking to start or advance their career in IT support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first‑line support to end‑users via phone, email, and ticketing system.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for employees.
  • Assist with setting up and configuring new devices (desktops, laptops, printers, etc.).
  • Manage and resolve service desk tickets in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure all issues are accurately documented in the ticketing system.
  • Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a professional demeanor and clear communication.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate higher‑level technicians or specialists.
  • Assist with routine maintenance, software updates, and system backups.
  • Perform basic user account management tasks (password resets, account unlocks, etc.).
  • Assist in onboarding new employees with IT‑related tasks and equipment setup.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree or greater education.
  • 2+ years of IT experience in a corporate setting.
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/macOS/Linux), and common software applications.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting basic network issues (Wi‑Fi, VPN, etc.).
  • Strong customer service skills with a patient and positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the IT field.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with IT support or help desk environments.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Service Now, Zendesk, BMS).
  • Basic understanding of Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
  • CompTIA A+ or other entry‑level IT certifications are a plus.
