Location: Chandler, AZ
Worksite: 2600 S Price Rd, Chandler, AZ
Contract Duration: 12 months (02/28/2026 – 02/27/2027)
The position focuses on monitoring, triaging, and investigating security alerts, supporting incident response activities, and contributing to continuous process improvements within Information Security Engineering. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Information Security Engineer 2 to support day-to-day cybersecurity operations in an enterprise environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with SIEM tools, a strong interest in cybersecurity, and the ability to analyze and respond to low-to-moderate risk security events.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor, triage, and investigate security alerts generated by SIEM and security tools
- Analyze low-to-moderately complex security incidents and recommend appropriate remediation actions
- Participate in incident response activities and escalation processes
- Conduct research and analysis to support resolution of security issues
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within security operations
- Document findings, actions taken, and recommendations clearly and accurately
- Collaborate with internal security and technology teams to support secure operations
- Provide information and support to stakeholders within Information Security Engineering
- 2+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, consulting, training, military experience, or education
- Experience triaging and investigating security alerts
- Hands-on experience using SIEM tools for security monitoring and investigation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, security-focused environment
- Passion for cybersecurity and continuous learning
- Experience with Splunk (preferred, but open to other SIEM platforms)
- Exposure to incident response or SOC operations
- Familiarity with security frameworks, policies, and compliance requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
