Linux System Administrator; Chandler - 2nd Shift

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Linux System Administrator (Chandler - 2nd Shift) to join their dynamic team. As a Linux System Administrator (Chandler - 2nd Shift), you will be part of the Infrastructure Operations team supporting critical enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to system management, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Linux System Administrator (Chandler - 2nd Shift)

Location: Chandler, AZ

Pay Range: $70.24

• Support and manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) operating systems on VM and x86 hardware.
• Support Unix Solaris on SPARC systems, maintaining server configurations, patching, and system health monitoring.
• Respond to tickets and production events, troubleshooting OS, storage, cluster, and performance issues.
• Collaborate with vendors, network engineers, storage engineers, database administrators, and application teams to optimize system performance.
• Maintain security protocols, support automation, and ensure high availability of enterprise systems.

• 4–6+ years of hands‑on experience with Red Hat Linux administration and Solaris support.
• Experience supporting large, global enterprise environments.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Bash, and Perl.
• Knowledge of VMware ESX, storage management (Infoscale/Veritas, EMC, IBM), and clustering technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across OS, storage, network, and virtualization layers.
