Overview
The Fraud Technology team is looking for a mid-level Business Analyst. Requirements include 5-8 years of technical experience (preferably in the financial industry), with a minimum of 4 years of experience with the agile methodology. The Business Analyst is responsible for learning and speaking to the technical components and systems in order to drive project delivery for multiple concurrent projects by capturing and supporting delivery of business and/or system requirements to accomplish business goals.
This role is also responsible for working across different development teams to manage releases into different environments, including production. Candidates will be responsible for ensuring there is a full traceability from requirements to implementation to testing to production releases and post-production validation. Candidates must have excellent communication and inter-personal skills to engage and influence teams across multiple organizations.
- 5+ years of experience in a technology delivery team as a Business Analyst and/or Project Manager.
- Required experience with delivery of systems/applications in the Agile environment, including various Agile ceremonies such as PI planning and retrospectives.
- Working knowledge with COBOL 370, EZTrieve Plus, JCL/PROCS, FILE MANAGER, IBM Utilities such as SYNCSORT, SUPERC, COMPAREX, IEBGENER, and IMS DC/DB, VSAM / DB2, NDM, CA7 Scheduler and ISPW.
- Candidate must be proven as a confident and creative problem-solver who can drive interaction with resources as well as working independently to research and resolve issues.
- Candidate must be a self-starter, able to work independently, with a willingness to learn without being reluctant to ask questions of either business or technology partners.
- Hands on experience in delivering technical solutions, including the coordination of end-to-end project deliveries from requirement gathering through testing.
- Requirements gathering into Business Requirements Documents, wireframes, epic and story writing, flow diagrams, data mapping, test plans, use cases and scenarios.
- Demonstrable experience providing subject matter expertise within the technical (and some business) domain to support scope and requirement decisions.
- Experience with agile development teams comprised of developers, scrum masters, analysts, product owners, testers.
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, SharePoint, WIKI, ALM for requirements and SDLC, knowledge sharing and documentation of requirements, and issue tracking.
- Candidate needs to be a strong communicator with great communication skills.
- Financial Services / Banking industry experience a plus.
- Fraud Detection, Prevention, Servicing, and/or claims experience a plus.
- Bank of America change management procedures and project tracking tools.
