Job Description

The role involves advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting of server, storage, and network hardware within a data center, coordinating vendor repairs, maintaining inventory, supporting remote teams, and ensuring compliance with operational procedures.

• Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting of server, storage, and network hardware.
• Coordinate and oversee vendor repairs and maintenance activities within the data center.
• Manage and maintain accurate inventory of hardware components and spare parts.
• Support remote teams with hands‑on tasks including hardware replacement, cabling, and system reboots.
• Ensure compliance with data center operational procedures and safety standards.
• Document all activities, incidents, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Assist in capacity planning and infrastructure upgrades.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to escalated incidents promptly.

• Strong understanding of data center operations and infrastructure components.
• Hands‑on experience with server, storage, and networking hardware.
• Ability to perform advanced hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Experience coordinating with hardware vendors and service providers.
• Proficiency in inventory management and asset tracking tools.
• Familiarity with remote support tools and procedures.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle escalated issues effectively.

• This role is based in a physical data center environment and may require lifting and moving equipment.
• The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑availability setting and be willing to participate in rotational shifts and on‑call duties.
