Job Description:Cloud Architecture & Design
- Architect and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions.
- Develop cloud adoption strategies, reference architectures, and best practices.
- Evaluate and recommend cloud services and technologies to meet business needs, including AI and machine learning services.
- Lead the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure and services.
- Oversee migration of on‑premises workloads to the cloud.
- Design and implement solutions using Azure, AWS and Oracle AI/ML services
- Collaborate with data science and analytics teams to support AI‑driven initiatives.
- Ensure secure and scalable integration of AI models and services within cloud environments.
- Design, deployment, and governance of Azure OpenAI Service, ensuring compliance with enterprise data privacy, legal, and responsible AI requirements; implement infrastructure as code, manage access controls, oversee cost allocation, and provide training and support for business units leveraging AOI.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Cloud Formation, Bicep).
- Optimize cloud resources for cost, performance, and reliability.
- Implement and enforce security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies and industry standards.
- Partner with development, security, and operations teams to support application deployments and troubleshooting.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and administrators.
- Design and implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
- Lead incident response and root‑cause analysis for cloud‑related issues.
- Stay current with emerging cloud and AI technologies and industry trends.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for cloud operations and architecture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering, architecture, or administration.
- Deep hands‑on expertise with one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Strong experience with cloud‑agnostic tools (Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.).
- Advanced understanding of networking, security, and virtualization in cloud environments.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, Power Shell, Terraform, Bicep, etc.).
