What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate is energetic, enthusiastic, customer-friendly, and passionate about providing high‑quality care in a fast‑paced, team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients in the clinic and keep them informed of wait times.
  • Obtain personal and insurance data and enter information into the EMR system.
  • Monitor patient flow, placing patients into rooms as needed.
  • Complete all necessary insurance forms for registration to ensure proper reimbursement.
  • Prepare daily deposit, reconciliation, and statistical information.
  • Maintain adequate stock of front‑office supplies and ensure equipment functions properly.
  • Answer telephone utilizing quality customer service skills.
  • Ensure the patient waiting area and restrooms are clean and reflect a positive image of Next Care.
  • Manage patient appointments scheduled via the Next Care website.
  • Notify back office immediately of any urgent medical concerns a patient may be experiencing.
  • Educate patients on services offered by Next Care for their current or next visit.
  • Promptly notify the Clinic Manager of any patient or employee safety concerns.

The Medical Front Office Receptionist supports the organization with exceptional customer service and treats all patients with respect and dignity, ensuring clinic operations run smoothly and patient flow and satisfaction are optimized.

Essential Education, Experience And Skills

Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; a Medical Administrative Assistant Certificate or equivalent is highly desired.
