Responsibilities
:
- Lead the SLP department: mentor SLPs & SLPAs, conduct performance reviews, and drive clinical excellence
- Deliver evidence-based, play-based, neurodiversity-affirming therapy (articulation, language, social communication, AAC, fluency)
- Treat patients with 53–60 min 1:1 sessions (you choose your clinical vs leadership mix)
- Support clinicians with clinic-based and home-health cases as needed
- Collaborate daily with on-site OT, Speech, and ABA teams for true interdisciplinary care
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Minimum 3 years Pediatric SLP experience + at least 2 years in a leadership/supervisory role
- Experience with neurodiverse populations (especially autism, social communication, AAC)
- Knowledge of Arizona DDD/AHCCCS guidelines, commercial insurance authorizations, and compliant billing/documentation
- Passion for community outreach and program growth
- Current Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card, CPR/First Aid, and Article 9 certification
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Advanced training or certification in AAC, PROMPT, FEES, Social Thinking, or similar
- Experience designing or improving clinical programs, documentation systems, or quality initiatives
- Proven success in community outreach, parent training workshops, or interdisciplinary program development
- Comfort leading performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and team policy creation
- Passion for neurodiversity-affirming practices and staying current with evidence-based research
- Ability to work primarily in-clinic with occasional in-home visits
- Experience building clinical programs or documentation systems
Pay range and compensation package $90,000 – $100,000+ (DOE). Health, Dental, and Vision insurance, 401(k), Generous PTO and Sick Time, CEU budget + dedicated leadership development
