Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Chandler, Arizona. This contract-to-permanent position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a solid background in managing accounts receivable processes. The role requires attention to detail, proficiency in computer systems, and the ability to handle AR aging effectively.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and maintain accounts receivable records, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing.

- Analyze AR aging reports to identify discrepancies and resolve outstanding balances.

- Utilize Microsoft Excel to create detailed financial reports and track payment trends.

- Coordinate with internal teams and external clients to address billing inquiries and disputes.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to financial transactions.

- Prepare regular reports summarizing receivables status and provide actionable insights.

- Assist in the implementation of system updates or improvements impacting AR processes.

- Monitor payment schedules and follow up with clients to ensure timely collections.

- Collaborate with the logistics and food teams to support AR activities across multiple locations.

- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to ethical standards. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create formulas and analyze data.

- Strong understanding of AR aging and related processes.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

- Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.

- Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.

- Familiarity with financial systems and software to support AR operations.

- High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accuracy in all tasks.
