Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain financial planning calendar and process for the monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts.
  • Develop, maintain complex financial models as part of the site's forecasting, budgeting, and annual planning processes.
  • Analyze financial data and develop relevant financial models for our baseline and growth scenarios for revenue at the site level.
  • Direct and coordinate all program financial planning activities including program reviews and revenue recognition processes.
  • Prepare and provide accurate and timely monthly financial reports and provide detailed quantitative and qualitative analysis, including variance explanations and trends.
  • Monitor and track key program performance indicators including revenue, and gross margins and compare to forecast.
  • Drive reporting enhancements, process improvements, and automation to create daily management and eliminate manual work in the Finance organization.
  • Create overview analyses and executive summaries.
  • Improve performance by evaluating and improving processes to drive operational efficiencies.
  • Provide advice, guidance and support to Site Finance leader as required.
  • Partner with the broader Finance and Accounting, looking for opportunities to improve processes and forecasting accuracy across the site.
  • Coach and develop financial analyst.
Qualifications
  • BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or Economics; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 5+ years financial experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with functional leadership to ensure business success.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience recognizing process shortfalls and successfully implement positive change.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to interact with site management, strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to synthesize information into key messages appropriate for the audience
  • Demonstrated behaviors: results orientation, sense of urgency, management by fact and teamwork.
