Commercial Loan Closing Specialist

Overview

Our client, a leader in financial services, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Loan Closing Specialist to join their team. As a Commercial Loan Closing Specialist, you will be part of the Commercial Lending department supporting day-to-day operations during system conversions and loan processing activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, proactive communication, and a commitment to accuracy, which will align successfully in the organization.

• Booking and funding commercial loans in the LoanIQ system
• Responding to requests from other lines of business to post funds and handle money movement activities
• Supporting the transition from AFS to LoanIQ by reducing the learning curve among staff
• Ensuring compliance with commercial loan credit agreements and operational procedures
• Assisting with day-to-day loan operations and system support activities

• Proficiency in LoanIQ and commercial loan booking/funding processes
• Experience in commercial loan operations and credit agreements
• Strong understanding of commercial lending workflows
• Knowledge of AFS system is a plus, but not required
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
