Calculated Hire is in search of a Commercial Banking Accountant to support our Fortune 100 Financial Services client’s Financial Spreading team within Commercial Banking Operations. This team plays a key role in ensuring client financial agreements are being met accurately and consistently.

• Support credit officers by reviewing covenant-related requests tied to loan agreements.
• Perform financial testing
  , such as reviewing financial statements and calculating Debt Service Coverage Ratios (DSCR), leverage ratios, and other loan-related metrics.
• Set up and track covenant events within internal systems.
• Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and delivered in accordance with established procedures.
• Track progress against production and quality metrics with coaching support from managers.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical thinking and organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret balance sheets, income statements, and supporting financial documents.
• Professional experience or internships in banking, AR/AP, investments, or loan documentation.

• High attention to detail and comfort working with structured processes.
• Exposure to tools such as eTrack
  , Optimist
  , or nCino a plus.
• Excellent written communication skills—most documentation is in Word, not Excel.
• Strong time management and a desire to grow within financial services.
• Ability to meet expectations under metrics-driven performance (production + quality).
