, is seeking a Design Engineer Intern to join our Engineering team for Summer 2026
. This internship is designed for students graduating in 2026–2027 who are eager to gain hands‑on experience in mechanical and electrical design, CAD modeling, and engineering documentation within a fast‑paced aerospace and defense environment.
- Assist in preparing working plans, detailed drawings, and complete mechanical or electrical component and assembly drawings.
- Support engineering and manufacturing teams by working from notes, instructions, and sketches.
- Collaborate with technical engineers to ensure model accuracy and adherence to drafting/design standards.
- Verify completed work by checking dimensions, materials, and quantities.
- Contribute to maintaining configuration control and document management standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Junior or senior standing in 2026 or 2027, currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Working knowledge of Computer‑Aided Design (CAD) and drafting software (Solid Works preferred).
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and ANSI Y14.5 standards.
- Familiarity with configuration control and document management systems is a plus.
- Machine shop knowledge or experience with manufacturing techniques and tool design is desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with peers.
- Due to contractual and regulatory requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role. Pac Sci EMC is a U.S. Department of State ITAR‑regulated employer; this position requires U.S. citizenship.

The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 20.53 – 41.11.
