Manufacturing Process Transfer Engineer

• Contract Duration: 9 months - Estimated to end 9/2026 (potential for extension)
• Location: 100% Onsite in Chandler, AZ (85226)
• Pay Rate – Negotiable depending on DIRECT-related experience up to $50 - $55 an hour
• Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Own and manage a product line end-to-end, overseeing all stages from development through implementation
• Design and validate manufacturing processes being transferred to the new location
• Specify precise product functional requirements; design, test, and integrate manufacturing processes and fixtures
• Evaluate processes for effectiveness, cost efficiency, reliability, and safety
• Develop, execute, and document process validation plans
• Create and review material part specifications and bills of materials
• Collaborate with internal manufacturing partners, contract manufacturers, and designers to optimize designs for manufacturability
• Utilize CAD (Computer Aided Design) or CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) systems to review and modify existing engineering drawings and designs
• Prepare and review technical documentation related to validation and product management activities
• Work comfortably with manufacturing equipment in a hands-on environment
• Apply technical aptitude to troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance manufacturing operations

• Experience with equipment validation
• Strong technical aptitude
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and equipment
• Proficiency in CAD/CAE systems
