Job Responsibilities- Responsible for the development, decomposition, refinement and documentation of key requirements and capabilities.
- Responsible for supporting overall system‑level end‑to‑end performance assessments of the system and identifying and leading the resolution of systems performance gaps relative to stakeholder requirements.
- Collaborate with other systems engineers and other disciplines to support the development of deliverables.
- Generate and document system‑level requirements, perform vehicle performance assessments and participate in system‑level verification/data review activities.
- Manage requirement changes using the Requirements Management databases working effectively with IPT leaders and team members.
- Create and manage both original and revised specification/interface definition documents and coordinate document approval through the peer review and signature process.
- Support risk management (identify potential risk).
- Manage aspects of system design, analyses, interface verification, testing, minor failure/anomaly resolution or mission operations.
- Participate in the creation of and/or management of changes to system or subsystem analytical models.
- Experience with Agile principles and have demonstrated the ability to facilitate an agile development process.
- Lead or support the development and execution of program technical reviews.
- 2 years with BS in Engineering; 0 years with Masters in Engineering.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Ability to work onsite is required.
- Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance is required.
- Ability to travel, when needed, is required.
- A strong experienced-based and academic foundation in Systems Engineering fundamentals.
- Demonstrated experience in requirements decomposition, validation and verification.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non‑technical personnel.
- Experience working in an interceptor program.
- Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience.
- Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler.
- Multi‑Disciplinary Analysis and Optimization (MDAO) experience.
- Familiarity with Agile engineering and Jira.
- Strong resolve to drive tasks to completion autonomously.
We work a 9/80 schedule (9 hours per day Mon‑Thurs, 8 hours every other Friday with the alternate Friday off).
Primary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 – $
Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
