Overview
Microchip Technology's fast-growing Analog business unit is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Test Engineer to join our Mixed Signal and Linear team in Chandler, Arizona. In this role, you will play a critical part in bringing new analog and mixed-signal products to market, including ADCs, DACs, Digital Potentiometers, Temperature Sensors, and Operational Amplifiers.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with an international New Product Introduction (NPI) team to successfully release new products to market.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and provide testability recommendations during the product design phase.
- Design and implement Automated Test Equipment (ATE) solutions (hardware and software) for validation, qualification, characterization, probe, and high-volume final test.
- Provide schematic and layout input to CAD engineers for the development of Probe and Final Test (FT) load boards.
- Debug new silicon and deliver feedback to the development team.
- Support factory teams in debugging, maintaining, and enhancing existing test solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering field.
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in developing analog/mixed-signal hardware and ATE programs.
- Proficiency in C, C++, and VBA programming languages.
- Strong knowledge of circuit design, circuit debugging, and simulation.
- Willingness to travel internationally (up to four weeks, 1-2 times per year).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

We offer a total compensation package that ranks among the best in the industry. It consists of competitive base pay, restricted stock units, and quarterly bonus payments. In addition to these components, our package includes health benefits that begin day one, retirement savings plans, and an industry leading ESPP program with a 2 year look back feature. The annual base salary range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $70,304 - $205,000.
Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
