We are seeking a highly motivated and creative entry level Digital Design Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. As a Digital Designer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and verification of digital integrated circuits and systems. This is an excellent entry level opportunity for engineers with a passion for digital design and innovation to launch their careers in a collaborative and supportive environment.

• System Verilog based RTL design of chip level interconnect and functionality as per Specification
• Run chip level simulations to verify/debug proper functionality and support of verification effort
• Run Lint and other quality checks.
• Support FPGA emulation and silicon validation of designs
• Comply with and improve Development methodology and quality flow
• Contribute with product knowledge in the cross functional team

• BS or MS within Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field
• 0-3 years relevant work experience
• Experience/Knowledge of with EDA design flow and tools, preferably Synopsys and System Verilog

• System Verilog for design and verification (assertions).
• Synopsys and Cadence CAD Tools
• FPGA Xilinx
• Scripting in Python/PERL and XML
• Knowledge in Unix/Linux

Benefits of working at Microchip

The annual base salary range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $70,304-$143,000.

* Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
