Engineering Assistant

Summary

This role is responsible for providing day to day engineering support by creating, maintaining, troubleshooting and improving processes.

• Support engineering by providing technical assistance and solutions when problems are encountered in Research and Development.
• Ensure that electrical, mechanical, and metrology equipment and fixtures are kept in good working order. Maintain/repair as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems.
• Improve testing procedures and document best practices. Perform training as needed.
• Conduct and participate in measurement variation and alignment studies.
• Utilize document control and design control systems.
• Ensure that the labs have the appropriate inventory of consumable items. Procure as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of education
• 2+ years of engineering or technical experience
• Experience using Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
• Hands‑on testing and/or metrology experience
• Willingness to learn new equipment and procedures
• Knowledge of VNA and/or RF testing preferred
