Northrop Grumman is seeking a Co-Op, Mechanical Engineer to join the Space Systems Sector. This position will be located in Chandler, Arizona. The successful candidate should plan to work full time Spring and Summer semester (January-August 2027). This position would be with the Launch Vehicles business group. As a co-op, you'll participate in a co-op program to develop competencies in a variety of Mechanical engineering specializations that may include:

Roles and Responsibilities Performs a variety of duties in the mechanical areas. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.

Basic Qualifications A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
• Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university AND graduating after August 2027

• Be majoring in Mechanical Engineering or related field

• Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) from January
- August 2027

• Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) Intern and Co-op Pay Range:
Bachelor's: $22.25 to $27.25 per hour Master's: $32.00 to $33.75 per hour At Northrop Grumman, our internship and co-op pay rates are standardized and take into account three main factors: the anticipated graduation date of the individual, the cost of labor of the geographic location, and whether the internship is considered technical or administrative.
