EUV Technical Support Engineer - Source/Co2
Join ASML as an EUV Technical Support Engineer – Source/Co2. ASML US develops lithography machines key to producing faster, cheaper, more energy‑efficient microchips.
Role and responsibilities- Provide technical expertise to the Fab Support team and customers during machine issue escalations, complex repair execution, and sequence preparation.
- Drive issue resolution and provide structural follow‑up to improve ASML procedures and ways of working at local sites.
- Monitor machine health parameters to prevent unscheduled downtime.
- Ensure safe service actions and promote a proactive safety culture.
- Collaborate with local support teams, the customer, and global support groups to efficiently solve machine issues.
- Support complex service action sequence creation and review with Fab and Planning teams.
- Share knowledge and cross‑train others to gain organizational flexibility and self‑sufficiency.
- Perform data analysis and proactive monitoring to prevent unscheduled downtime.
- Develop and implement best‑known methods to drive optimized shift‑to‑shift performance.
- Improve service mix and structural issue documentation, including initiation, review, and improvement rollout.
- Understand and drive continuous improvement toward ASML’s performance and cost KPI targets.
- Present data‑driven summaries to the customer, including problem statement, root cause, and solution with timeline.
- Provide timely feedback to customer questions in a clear, professional manner.
- Perform administrative and coordination duties, including shift/team pass down, service orders, system health and monthly reports on an independent basis.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- 3+ years of experience, technical knowledge of EUV and/or DUV preferred.
- Experience with EUV Vessel and/or CO2 Drive Laser preferred.
- Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Result‑driven with ownership and accountability.
- Proven ability to perform effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloads and deadlines.
- Ability to complete assignments with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
- Experience interpreting data, information, and documents.
- Ability to travel within the US and internationally and work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Access to controlled technology required per Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. §730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
- Position may require up to 40% travel in the training period and willingness to work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid driver’s license and passport required.
- Physical demands: routine sitting, walking, reaching, lifting up to 20 lbs, travel as needed.
