The Minotaur launch program provides satellite-to-on‑orbit capability to government customers using refurbished Peacekeeper and Minuteman boosters in addition to integrated Northrop Grumman boosters and avionics systems.

• Generate/document system level launch vehicle requirements, perform vehicle performance assessments, and participate in system level verification/data review activities.
• Decompose, trace, and verify mission requirements within the designated requirement tracking database (DOORS).
• Interface with program management, engineering staff, and external customers.
• Lead a team of systems engineers to complete efforts per the systems engineering standard.
• Travel to support field/launch campaigns and customer meetings with the opportunity to sit on the launch console.
• Present and prepare materials for presentation during critical reviews.

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master’s degree with 10 years of related engineering experience, or a Ph.D. with 8 years of engineering experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• U.S. DoD Interim Secret security clearance, or higher, at the time of application.
• Ability to travel is required.
• Strong technical problem‑solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong resolve to drive tasks to completion autonomously.

Primary Level Salary Range: $ – $. This range is a general guideline;
Northrop Grumman considers factors such as scope and responsibilities, candidate’s experience, education, skills, and current market conditions when determining base salary offers. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for long‑term incentives.
