Location:

- Generate and document system-level interceptor requirements; perform vehicle performance assessments; participate in system-level verification/data review activities.
- Create new system requirements and manage requirement changes in the Requirements Management databases working with IPT leaders and team members.
- Drive tasks to completion autonomously and mentor/training others.
- Create and manage specification/interface definition documents; coordinate approvals through peer review and signature process.
- Support risk management, identify potential risk, and trade‑study processes.
- Manage aspects of system design, analysis, interface verification, testing, minor failure/anomaly resolution or mission operations.
- Participate in the creation of and manage changes to system or subsystem analytical models.
- Apply agile principles and facilitate an agile development process.
- Interface with IPT engineering staff as required.
- Facilitate development and execution of technical reviews for the program.
Level 3: $98,400 – $147,600
Level 4: $122,800 – $184,200
Basic QualificationsLevel 3
- BS in Engineering (preferably Electrical Engineering) with minimum 5 years related experience; or Masters Degree with 3 years experience; or PhD with 1 year experience.
Level 4
- BS in Engineering (preferably Electrical Engineering) with minimum 8 years related experience; or Masters Degree with 6 years experience; or PhD with 4 years experience.
- Experience developing power distribution architectures for low and high voltage systems.
- Understands electrical power at system level and can drive architectural decisions.
- Experience coordinating with electrical engineering teams to determine system level requirements.
- Performs analysis of electrical power systems to determine adequacy in meeting requirements.
- Experience with requirements decomposition and allocation.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Active U.S. DoD Secret security clearance, or higher.
- Willingness to work in fast‑paced development programs.
- Ability to travel is required.
- Experience leading within an IPT organization as a lead or SME.
