Job SummaryTeach a variety of instructional courses related to Business at Chandler - Gilbert Community College.
Essential Functions- Supervises and instructs a diverse population of students in a classroom setting.
- Develops written syllabi/course outlines and course materials.
- Evaluates knowledge of subject matter taught and monitors students' scholastic records.
- Prepares and grades assignments and exams.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- A. Five (5) years of occupational experience in the field to be taught OR
- B. Three (3) years of occupational experience in the field to be taught and a Bachelor's degree OR
- C. A Master's degree in the teaching field OR
- D. A Master's degree in any field with 18 graduate credits in the teaching field OR
- E. A Master's degree in any field with a combination of 24 upper division and/or graduate credits in the teaching field (Upper division courses are Junior and Senior level courses in obtaining a Bachelors' degree)
- A. Master’s degree in Business Administration or related business area such as small business or entrepreneurship, such as degree from an AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accredited, research-oriented university.
- B. Three years of teaching experience at the community college level in management, marketing, small business and/or other business courses.
- C. Experience as a manager or small business owner.
- D. Experience teaching online management, marketing or small business courses with LMS system such as Canvas.
- E. Industry experience using various types of social media and small business software.
Must be available to work from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Mondays through Thursdays in person.
