About Medi-Weight loss Chandler

Medi-Weight loss Chandler is a physician-supervised weight management clinic dedicated to evidence-based care, personalized treatment plans, and long-term patient success. We are entering a strong growth phase and are seeking an experienced healthcare sales professional to build and manage our physician referral network.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Physician Outreach Specialist to cultivate and maintain relationships with local healthcare providers and drive consistent patient referrals to our clinic.

This is a part-time, field-based, performance-driven role ideal for someone who has experience calling on physician practices and thrives in a relationship-focused, measurable environment.

Key Responsibilities
Physician Outreach & Relationship Management
  • Identify and target key specialties including Primary Care, OB‑GYN, Cardiology, Endocrinology, and Bariatrics.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with physicians, nurse practitioners, PAs, practice managers, and clinical teams.
  • Educate providers on Medi‑Weight loss’ clinical model, program structure, safety standards, and patient outcomes.
Practice Engagement
  • Conduct regular in‑person office visits within Chandler and surrounding areas.
  • Coordinate and deliver brief educational presentations.
  • Ensure practices have updated referral materials and understand the referral process.
Retention & Follow‑Up
  • Maintain consistent communication with referring offices to support ongoing engagement.
  • Reinforce relationships with providers by sharing program updates and patient success outcomes (in accordance with privacy standards).
  • Re‑engage practices that show declining referral activity.
Reporting & Territory Management
  • Document outreach activities and referral data using a simple CRM or tracking system.
  • Provide weekly updates to clinic leadership on:
    • Offices visited
    • Referral patterns
    • New referring providers onboarded
  • Collaborate on adjusting outreach strategies based on performance data.
Success Metrics (3–6 Months)

A successful candidate will:

  • Manage a panel of 10–20 active practices
    .
  • Develop a core group of 10 consistently referring providers
    .
  • Help drive 20+ new patient referrals per month from established relationships.
  • Create stable, predictable referral patterns that support sustained clinic growth.
Qualifications
Required
  • 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales, medical device sales, or physician liaison experience.
  • Demonstrated success calling on one or more of the following specialties:
    Primary Care, OB‑GYN, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Bariatrics.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort engaging with clinical teams.
  • Ability to discuss medical and clinical concepts with professionalism and clarity.
  • Self‑directed, organized, and able to manage a field‑based schedule.
  • Comfortable in a performance‑centered role with measurable expectations.
Preferred
  • Existing network of provider relationships in Chandler / Gilbert / Tempe / Phoenix area.
  • Experience in weight management, metabolic health, or wellness‑related services.
Schedule & Work Environment
  • Part‑time: approximately 10‑12 hours a week to start with potential for more based on your performance and clinic needs
  • Field‑based: includes in‑office visits, practice meetings, and presentations.
  • Flexible schedule during standard clinic and practice operating hours.
  • Occasional early morning, evening, or community events as needed.
Compensation
  • Competitive part‑time base compensation starting at $20 per hour.
  • Performance‑based incentives tied to:
    • Referral volume
    • New referring providers
    • Overall growth of the referral network
  • Total compensation offers strong upside potential for candidates who excel in relationship‑driven outreach.
