Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Safety Coordinator to oversee and enhance safety practices across our construction and industrial operations. This role is vital in ensuring compliance with safety regulations, promoting a proactive safety culture, and protecting the well‑being of all employees on site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive safety programs across construction and industrial sites.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.
  • Deliver engaging and informative safety training sessions to site employees.
  • Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including incident reports, inspection records, training logs, and safety meeting minutes.
  • Stay current with evolving safety laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Advise management on safety compliance issues and recommend proactive measures.
  • Organize and lead safety meetings, emergency drills, and toolbox talks.
  • Manage inventory and distribution of safety equipment and PPE.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
Qualifications
  • 1 year of experience in construction or industrial safety.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and other relevant safety regulations.
  • Certification in First Aid/CPR and OSHA 30‑Hour Construction Safety.
  • Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, or a related field (highly valued).

Work Environment & Conditions
  • This role involves regular site visits and may require working outdoors in varied weather conditions.
  • Occasional travel between project sites is expected.
  • Must be able to wear PPE and navigate active construction zones.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
