Substation Construction Manager - Per Diem

Position: Substation Construction Manager - Per Diem Offered
Trillium Construction in hiring for a Traveling Solar Substation Construction Manager to oversee the ground-up construction of solar substations across the country.

This is a direct-hire, long-term position, paying an annual salary up to $160,000/yr, plus $200/day in per diem!

Duties:
-Manage and oversee all aspects of substation construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and safety standards.
-Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and utility representatives to ensure proper project execution.
-Supervise construction crews and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
-Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, while monitoring progress and addressing potential delays or issues.
-Ensure compliance with OSHA, NESC, NEC, and other regulatory requirements
-Manage procurement and logistics of materials, equipment, and labor resources Organizing final submittals, performing field inspections, review commissioning testing
-Supervising substation energization
-Manage Electronic Schedules

Qualifications:

-Minimum of 5+ years in substation construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or project management role
-Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or a related field preferred
-Strong understanding of high-voltage electrical systems, transformers, switch gear, and protective relay systems.
-Must be knowledgeable in all substation construction disciplines: mechanical/structural, civil, electrical, protection & control, commissioning
-OSHA 30 certification
-Proficient in Procore, and MS Office programs
-Ability to travel extensively
-Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings
