General Service Technician - $15.15/hr and up

Salary: $15.15/hr and up. Tool and Boot Program: tools/boots provided after 1 year of continuous employment.

• Perform tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Perform oil changes and other basic services per the Shop Manager or Store Manager.
• Observe general vehicle condition and report needed repairs or safety concerns.
• Document vehicle condition using the company’s Multi‑point Inspection and/or Repair Order.
• Maintain cleanliness of the shop, service area, tire racks, showroom, and surrounding areas.
• Safely transport customers to/from residence or business using company vehicle.
• Pick up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors or corporate office.
• Operate company vehicle safely and courteously, obeying all traffic laws.
• Conduct State Safety and Emission Inspections following company and state guidelines.
• Follow all safety procedures and report concerns.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum age 18 years old.
• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Current or expired State Inspector license, or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
• General understanding of under‑hood mechanical and under‑carriage assemblies.
• Availability Monday‑Saturday.

The General Service Technician will be exposed to moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, petroleum products, vapors, caustic materials, and other hazardous and non‑hazardous materials. Temperature varies and may include extreme heat or cold.

Physical requirements:

• Stand up to eight hours per day, walk to various areas of the building.
• Bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch regularly; full range of motion with arms and hands.
• Lifting up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Hear and speak; vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and refocus.
