The Interim Human Resources Consultant will provide part-time strategic and operational HR leadership for a growing organization. In this role, the consultant will oversee end-to-end HR operations including compliance, benefits, recruiting, employee relations, performance management, and compensation while also supporting the development of an internal team. This role requires a hands-on HR leader who is comfortable operating in a small, high-growth business environment and can quickly assess, optimize, and support HR processes.

Salary RangeHourly rate between $52-$62, DOE

Roles & Responsibilities- Provide strategic and operational HR support across the full employee lifecycle
- Oversee HR operations including compliance, benefits administration, recruiting, employee relations, performance management, and compensation
- Partner directly with the President to support organizational priorities and HR initiatives
- Support and mentor the internal HR Generalist while strengthening HR processes and structure
- Ensure HR policies, procedures, and compliance practices are maintained and optimized
- Leverage HRIS systems to support HR operations, reporting, and process efficiency
- Provide guidance on employee relations matters and support leadership in people-related decisions
- Help assess and improve HR systems, workflows, and operational best practices
- Strong end-to-end HR generalist experience across multiple functional areas
- Experience supporting HR operations in small or high-growth organizations
- Strong HRIS expertise;
Paycom experience highly preferred - Experience mentoring or supporting HR team members or generalists
- Strong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and HR best practices
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while partnering closely with leadership
