The Construction Draw Administrator is responsible for managing and coordinating construction loan draw processes from loan setup through payoff. This role serves as a key liaison between internal teams, inspectors, and borrowers, ensuring timely inspections, accurate documentation, and compliant disbursements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable handling multiple loans and deadlines simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities- Process construction loan draws accurately and in a timely manner
- Verify draw documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance prior to disbursement
- Track draw balances, retainage, and remaining loan proceeds
- Resolve draw-related discrepancies, shortages, or documentation issues
- Set up inspections for construction loans
- Order inspections and analyze inspection results
- Review and process inspection invoices
- Set up new construction loans in the system
- Establish and maintain complete loan files
- Pull required documentation from loan software
- Prepare files for inspections and draw processing
- Complete paid-off loan file takedowns
- Communicate draw status and requirements with internal teams, inspectors, and borrowers
- Provide onboarding communications to new construction loan borrowers
- Follow up on late payments
- Assist with ACH setup for borrower payments
- Manage insurance cancellations
- Confirm insurance documents comply with internal policies
- Pull and maintain reports and dashboards as needed
- Provide updates and status tracking for management
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Comfortable working with loan systems and digital documentation
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with construction loans, draw administration, or loan servicing
- Familiarity with Encompass or similar loan origination systems
- Experience working with inspections, invoices, or escrow-related processes
- Time management and prioritization
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
