Field Service Project Manager

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Project Manager with a strong background in the technical industry, particularly in electrical power distribution. This full-time role is perfect for a professional who excels in project management, planning, and customer service. You will be part of a dynamic team, coordinating and supporting projects from installation through commissioning at various customer locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits to ensure installations and commissioning align with sales documents and project scope.
• Verify that customer site requirements match equipment designs and project expectations.
• Engage with customers to validate equipment status for field service work.
• Participate in project reviews and documentation for inspections and testing.
• Support the internal PMO team by transferring key information to customers and contractors efficiently.
• Coordinate project delivery and documentation to end-user sites.
• Provide status updates and timelines to the Field Service Team for accurate equipment installation coordination.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in electrical power distribution equipment.
• Proficiency with SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to pass background and drug tests prior to employment.
• Strong problem-solving, project management, and analytical skills.
• Capability to work in a team setting and manage daily tasks effectively.
• Willingness to travel up to 35% to customer locations.
• Physical ability to sit, bend, or stand for long periods.
