. Developmental Services Center (DSC) provides comprehensive services across the lifespan—from birth through adulthood— including family development, case management, employment, residential, respite, and community day services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Champaign and Ford Counties. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • The Bus Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of DSC riders on an assigned route to and from their designated destinations. Also, to assist as necessary all clients entering or exiting the bus and ensure all seat belts are buckled prior to putting the vehicle into motion.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Minimum of two years bus driving experience.
ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
  • Hold a CDL “B” driver’s license with passenger endorsement
HOURS
  • Full‑Time: 40 hours a week, Monday – Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
WHAT WE OFFER
  • $17.50 per hour to start; $19.50 per hour for Class B CDL holder
  • Grant‑funded retention bonuses – up to 2 payments for a maximum of $1,200 per fiscal year! (depending on when in the grant year you are hired)
