As an Access Control Officer at a busy food and beverage location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and log visitors and deliveries using a computer and/or tablet. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver courteous customer service.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and drivers by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.

+ Control access at entry points by verifying identification, issuing and collecting badges, managing visitor and contractor logs, and directing individuals to approved check-in areas.

+ Screen and process inbound and outbound traffic including employee vehicles and commercial deliveries by confirming appointments, checking documentation, and communicating with site contacts for authorization.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site leadership and emergency services as directed by post orders.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, parking areas, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized access and/or policy violations, and report maintenance or operational concerns through the appropriate channels.

* + Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
