Under general direction, the Cybersecurity Engineer develops and manages various systems across the enterprise to maintain a high security posture. Areas of concentration include vulnerability management, account management, password auditing, endpoint protection, intrusion detection, and mitigating cybersecurity attacks. Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures (e.g., user logon and authentication rules, security breach escalation procedures, security auditing procedures, and use of firewalls and encryption routines).

Identify inadequacies and propose solutions for security posture.

Education:

Experience in lieu of education;
Associate's Degree in Information Technology.

Work Experience:

• Evaluate, recommend, manage & install IT system security applications.
• Work with Corporate Compliance to develop and audit IT security policies and procedures.
• Participate in the implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity procedures.
• Provide support to technical personnel in other teams for the proactive and continuous implementation of security baselines, configuration, and service management processes.
• Work closely with other departments within IT to ensure that all set configurations and security baselines have been met.
• Provide incident response to security threats.
• Assist Senior Cybersecurity Engineers in major projects and overall security posture improvement efforts.

The compensation range for this position is $33.56 per hour – $57.72 per hour. The actual compensation offered will depend on a variety of factors including experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked, and compensation model.
