Account Executive, Sales at Nexstar Media Group, Inc.

This role focuses on generating advertising revenue by engaging agencies, prospecting new clients, and presenting television advertising solutions.

• Implement strategies to consistently grow revenue and exceed revenue goals.
• Establish credible relationships with the local business community.
• Make sales calls to existing and prospective clients.
• Maintain assigned accounts and develop new accounts.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations to clients.
• Explain how specific types of advertising will best promote clients’ products or services.
• Provide clients with information regarding rates for advertising placement in all media.
• Develop advertising schedules with clients and station personnel responsible for placement.
• Work with clients and station personnel to develop advertisements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Mass Communications, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum one year of sales experience, preferably in the media field.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Experience achieving long‑range objectives and implementing strategies to reach them.
• Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines, and other office equipment.

Non‑Union Full‑Time Salaried

Salary Range: $50,000.00 – $ annually, commensurate with experience and skill level.
