Base pay range

An estimator's typical responsibilities include:
Analyzing plans, figures and quantities, measuring job sites, inspections and other project documentation to estimate costs; researching, sourcing, negotiating and obtaining the best prices and quotes from suppliers and subcontractors; following the process from start to finish and customer follow up is key.

Duties

• Maintain a clean and neat showroom
• Provide outstanding customer service
• Handle sales from start to finish
• Sell flooring and floor care products
• Answer customer questions
• Help customers with decorating and/or design advice
• Prospect for new business
• Manage time in the showroom, in the customer's home and prospecting for new clients
• Undergo extensive product and sales training to become a certified flooring and design expert
• Keep up-to-date on the wide selection of floors we offer along with the benefits and warranties provided by each

Requirements

• College degree a plus, but not required
• Retail sales experience a plus
• Passion and/or experience decorating or designing
• Self‑starter
• Personally well‑organized
• Microsoft Office a plus
• Flexible work hours to include weekends
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation for in‑home visits
