Join the loudest store in the mall! We're looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Seasonal Sales Associate, you'll be a key part of our success by providing excellent customer service, sharing your fandom knowledge, stocking and replenishing products, and merchandising the store to be visually appealing, all while focusing on the in-store experience.
What You'll Do- Provide an exceptional shopping experience that encourages customers to return, impressing them with your product knowledge and customer service skills
- Maintain visual standards on the sales floor and cover assigned zones
- Operate the register, process sales transactions, and promote add-on sales using benefits such as BOPIS and curbside pickup
- Assist with planogram changes, including store layout, wall displays, fixtures, and merchandising mix
- Communicate fashion and music trend information to management and HQ partners
- Work with Store Management to prevent theft and misuse of spells and wizardry
- Help keep the stock room organized and the store tidy
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals
- Perform any additional activities as assigned by your Store Leader
- Previous retail experience preferred; passion for music and pop culture is a plus
- Strong customer service and sales skills
- You must be at least 16 years old to join the team
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds
Pay rate: $15 - $15.50 per hour
