Forklift Operator

Plastipak in Champaign is growing & hiring. We manufacture packaging for products you use every day. Our facility is extremely clean, safe & climate-controlled. Joining us as a Forklift Operator is a great way to get started with Plastipak.

Shift:
Nights 6:45pm - 7:15 am

• Standard rotating schedule of 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off
• Includes 2 long-weekends every month
• Full time schedules are 15 working days a month

Pay:
Earn $20.25 per hour

• $19.25 per hour
• Plus $1.00 more for night shift differential

You Will

• Safely operate forklift
• Use RF Scanning device to properly maintain inventory records
• Transport raw materials and finished good throughout the facility
• Load and unload trucks
• Keep equipment clean
• Learn new skills through ongoing training

You Have

• A valid driver's license
• Minimum of one year of forklift experience
• Dependability & pride in a job well-done.
• Ability to use basic hand tools, such as wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, etc.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.
