ABOUT THE POSITION

Are you a grant expert looking for a way to use your knowledge and skills to help others? Then consider applying today to be the Grant Manager with the City of Champaign Finance Department. The City has a diverse grant portfolio and allocates funding to advance and support a wide range of projects, programs, and initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life for the residents of our community.

This is a full-time position available through June 30, 2025.

The Grant Manager is the City’s subject matter expert on all facets of grant administration for the City’s American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and other grants. They prepare and submit performance and fiscal reports and maintain proper documentation and records. They also train, mentor, and monitor outside agencies and subrecipients regarding grant compliance and provide general guidance by drafting grant management policies and procedures.
