PGL, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Student Worker - Outdoor Maintenance in our Fisher, Illinois location.

This position will start in May or June, works full-time, 6:30am - 3:00pm Monday - Friday during the summer months.

• Indoor Cleaning & Maintenance (e.g. dusting, sweeping, painting, equipment/facility cleaning & maintenance, unloading & loading warehouse products, garbage removal, general cleaning, etc.)
• Outdoor Maintenance (e.g. yard maintenance/planting, lawn mowing, debris clean up, painting, snow removal, wash/dry vehicles, equipment, & facilities, basic landscaping, window washing, installing/replacing signs on buildings and fences throughout the facility, etc.)
• Picking up used materials (valves, metals) after repairs have been done at gas well sites and station areas
• Assisting storage operators with general maintenance of valves, piping and gas well sites
• Driving company vehicles to the various well sites

• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma, GED or HSED
• Enrolled as a part-time or full‑time student pursuing a technical, associate, bachelor’s or master’s degree
• Valid driver’s license and meet the company’s requirements for driving

• Previous mechanical training or experience
• Previous experience working outdoors, landscaping, or lawn care

Pay Range Minimum
: $18.66/hour

Pay Range Maximum
: $18.66/hour

The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs.

At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
