Position

Summary

Sign on bonus available!

$3,000 for non‑licensed $4,000 for 1st or 2nd level license

Provides mental health rehabilitation services and supports to adults involved in the criminal justice system to increase community functioning so the client can achieve rehabilitative, resiliency and recovery goals. Provides continuity of program services in an ethical, legal and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards. Participates as a team member in the delivery of mental health services to clients and facilitates the issues of recovery into their daily living situations.

The Criminal Justice Case Manager provides, but is not limited to, mental health assessment and treatment planning, case management services, resource linkage and referral, individual and group counseling and skills training.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree with minimum two years’ experience in mental health.
  • Demonstrated education, training or experience in the mental health services.
  • Experience working with adults in the criminal justice system.
  • Adequate written skills to accurately complete required documentation within the time frames prescribed.
  • Excellent organizational and computer skills.
  • Self‑starter with ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Skilled in conducting individual and group counseling, case management.
Responsibilities
  • Work hours prescribed by and any additional hours deemed necessary for the responsibilities assigned.
  • Ability to motivate and problem solve with staff regarding effective clinical practices.
  • Ability to be self‑motivated, seek improved performance, problem solving while meeting the complex needs of the clients.
  • Skills to adapt verbal and written communication to the language and style of the client and their family.
  • Complete all necessary documentation within the appropriate time lines.
  • Undertake primary case management responsibilities for designated clients.
  • Conduct individual and group counseling and educational sessions for clients.
  • Ensure that client service records are maintained consistent with regulations.
  • Maintain communications with all staff.
  • Coordinate services from a variety of community resources.
  • Utilize a variety of treatment concepts, evidence‑based practices and service modalities when providing care.
  • Complete mental health assessment and diagnosing and treatment plan development.
  • Be familiar with court proceedings and available to make court appearances on behalf of Rosecrance clients.
  • Serve as a member of the Clinical Team and participate in all team meetings and activities.
  • Exercise confidentiality in keeping with the professional Code of Conduct and within the framework of the law.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.
  • Serve as a role model and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing the agency.
  • Assume other related responsibilities as delegated by management.

    Compensation & Rewards

    (pay is based on education, experience, and credentials)

    • Starting Pay:
      • Bachelor’s – $49,816/ year
    • Additional Pay Enhancements in addition to Base Salary:
      • Professional Certification (e.g., CADC, CRSS, or CPS): +$0.72/hour (equivalent of +$1,500 annualized)
