Responsibilities
The New Choice Center for Addiction Recovery is a 28-day, intensive, individualized hospital program for addiction treatment and detoxification. Medical detoxification is supervised by our professional staff and to help manage the acute physical symptoms of substance withdrawal in a secure environment.
Participants will also take part in individual sessions and family sessions with case management, as well as direct consultations with our medical team of addiction specialists.

Serves as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Assists in managing unit under the leadership of the Program Coordinator and Director of Social Services. Implements programming for individuals and groups of patients. Shares responsibility for consistently seeking to understand the meaning of verbal and non- verbal communications among staff and patients. Acts as role model (including therapeutic use of authority, confrontation, limit setting and provision of emotional support).
Also responsible for all appropriate documentation for New Choice program.
Education:
Current CADC certification required, Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of one year of experience in chemical dependency, education and group facilitation preferred.
