Production Engineer

Job Description

The Manufacturing Engineer will supervise and coordinate industrial and manufacturing engineering projects chick. Responsibilities include improving operating performance, reducing waste and delays, and driving company‑wide cost reductions. Supports new product start‑ups and launches.

Duties & Tasks
  • Plan and coordinate daily production engineering processes to deliver high‑quality products.
  • Develop process improvements to maximize equipment and material utilization.
  • Create operational strategies to meet production and financial goals.
  • Identify opportunities or implement changes to improve product quality or reduce costs using knowledge of fabrication processes, tooling, equipment, assembly methods, quality control standards, and design materials.
  • Investigate and resolve operational problems such as material use variances and bottlenecks.
  • Estimate costs, production times, or staffing requirements for existing and new designs.
  • Use time studies or standard data to improve machine, assembly, and hand material utilization.
  • Determine root causes of failures and recommend design or process changes.
  • Provide technical expertise or support related to manufacturing.
  • Incorporate new methods and processes पुनश्.
  • Review product designs for manufacturability and completeness.
  • Monitor production operations and enforce safety protocols.
  • Train production personnel in new or existing methods.
  • Design, install, or troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.

  • Create manufacturing methods, labor utilization standards, and cost analysis}).
  • Recommend methods to improve personnel, material, and utilities utilization.
  • Plan and establish sequences of operations for efficient fabrication and assembly.
  • Coordinate quality control objectives and activities to address production problems.
  • Coordinate with vendors, staff, and management on purchases, procedures, specifications, and project status.
  • Estimate production cost impacts of product design changes for management review.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Communicate verbally and listen.
  • Sit, stand, squat, bend, and walk regularly.
  • Use hands to type, handle objects, and paperwork.
  • Reach and hold items at chest level or above shoulder.
  • Lift and carry objects margem up to 50 lbs.
  • Use close vision and focus.
  • Work extended hours as needed.
  • Travel domestically or internationally as required.
  • Wear required PPE.
  • Use vision to read equipment labels, color‑coded inventory, and computer screens.

The employee works primarily in indoor office and warehouse environments.

Position Requirements and Qualifications Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Experience

3–5 years of engineering management in an automotive manufacturing environment.

Skills Required
  • Application of engineering science and technology to design and production.
  • Interpretation of CAD programs.
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality controlถวาย, and cost optimization.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
  • Full working knowledge of APQP, flowcharts, work instructions, and control plans.
  • Team player capable of process development and problem solving.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement principles.
  • Effective multitasking and cross‑functional work.
  • Compliance with HTGSS certification standards: TS16949, ISO 14001‑2015, ISO 45001‑2018.
  • Understanding of ERP maintenance Atmosphäre (SAP or similar).
  • Experience with network DB protocols.
