Description: Mahomet-Seymour CUSD #3 is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Social Worker to join our support services team at Lincoln Trail Elementary. The ideal candidate will provide social-emotional support, crisis intervention, and collaboration with families, staff, and community agencies to ensure that all students can access a safe, supportive, and effective learning environment. The School Social Worker will be responsible for conducting special education evaluations and supporting students with 504s/IEPs.

This position will begin with the  school year.

Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) and current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker Endorsement.

Salary and Benefits: Please see the attached current  Salary Schedule (our existing 4-year collective bargaining agreement will expire at the end of the  school year and we will be negotiating a new agreement that will begin with the  school year). The initial salary placement for this position is currently at the MS + 30 lane (this is also subject to change based on the new collective bargaining agreement).
